Design
and Build / Private Finance Initiative
ARTURUS has been involved
in a variety of Design Build and PFI projects. There are significant
benefits which can be gained from these methods of building procurement.
We are keen to work with contractors in this field and make good
members of the design and build team.
Projects have included both new-build and conversion work in the
following sectors :
- Commercial
- Education
- Healthcare
- Housing
Redruth Hospital, where we were employed by Amec, was funded through
the Private Finance Initiative and required extensive design input
from us in order for our team to win the contract. Although Amec has
substantial in-house design capabilities, we were employed because
of our specialist healthcare experience.
