Healthcare

At ARTURUS we have had
many years of experience in Healthcare projects ranging from Ward
Refurbishments up to complete new Hospitals with values from £50,000
up to £8million.
We have dealt with highly specialised areas such as Accident and Emergency
Departments and Intensive Care areas. We have been involved in feasibility
work for new Health Clinics as part of the NHS Lift Programme. We
have successfully carried out many Laboratory projects for the National
Blood Service in Birmingham, Bristol and Oxford. Our approach works
well when carrying out the level of sensitive design appropriate for
Mental Health facilities.
Recently we have successfully designed a number of new PFI hospitals
including Redruth Acute Mental Health Unit, opened in 2003 and the
new Savernake Community Hospital in Marlborough which is set to open
in 2005.
Our partners are supported by skilled technical staff who have a long
track record in Healthcare design. We work well as part of a team
and our design work is easily integrated with other design team members
through the use of CAD. We are also fully conversant with current
Healthcare Procedures, Codes of Practice and Technical Memoranda.
ARTURUS offers a caring
approach to design in which the involvement of staff and users is
seen as an integral part of the design process leading towards a successful
solution. We create imaginative cost-effective buildings with a non-clinical
atmosphere where appropriate and believe that the built environment
has a strong part to play in the healing process. |
