Arturus have designed a new site at Belhus Park for Aveley Football Club to replace their existing stadium which will be developed for housing. The proposal provides a new clubhouse with integral seating, overlooking a floodlit 3G pitch which can be used for league games, training and 5-a-side. The design allows for step 3 ground grade 3 league games to be played at the site. An adult grass pitch and two junior pitches complete the proposal. The club house has 4 changing rooms and space to add two more should this be required. A club/function room is provided with a capacity of 200 seated banquet style and the ability to be used for parties, weddings, conferences and other functions. The design aims to break the mould of domestic architecture used for many football club pavilions and uses VMZINC standing seam cladding for the roof and walls to give a robust and unified appearance.
