Arturus Architects are actively involved in all sizes of sport and leisure projects from simple pavilions, pitch reordering and 3g pitches to major Local Authority Sports and Leisure Centres. Robert Guy has over 30 years experience of designing for the sport and leisure sector and has been involved in all sizes and types of project. Examples of projects with his previous practice include Cardiff International Pool, The Irish Aquatic Centre in Dublin, Basingstoke Aquadrome, Tonbridge Pool, Tadley Pool and Coral Reef, Bracknell which is still regarded as one of Britain’s most successful leisure pools.
Arturus projects include Brean Splash, a major leisure and 25m pool at Brean Leisure Park which is being built over a number of phases, a number of football and rugby club relocations which require new club facilities, pavilions and 3g pitches as well as the main club pitches. Arturus Architects have also worked with Filton College to improve their sports facilities including an additional two lanes to their athletics track which has been used by the Kenyan Olympic Team.
